About
Founded in 1971 by Joe Henson to safeguard the disappearing native breeds of Britain, the farm is now run by his son Adam (familiar from BBC Countryfile) and remains a leading centre for rare-breed conservation.
Visitors can meet Cotswold sheep, Gloucester Old Spot pigs, Highland cattle, and Exmoor ponies in working farmyards, with seasonal lambing, shearing, and harvest events. There is a long farm trail through the wider estate.
