About
The Cotswold Way follows the limestone escarpment for the length of the National Landscape, taking in Broadway Tower, Sudeley, Painswick Beacon, and a sequence of long views west towards the Severn and the Welsh hills.
Most through-walkers take seven to ten days; the trail also breaks naturally into a dozen day-walks of 6–12 miles each, well-served by buses at either end. Waymarked in both directions.
In Chipping Campden
An unbroken curve of honey-stone houses on a single high street, and the official starting point of the Cotswold Way.
