About
Opened in 1970 in the grounds of Bradwell Grove, the wildlife park combines serious conservation work — including breeding programmes for endangered species — with the genuine pleasure of seeing reticulated giraffes browse beside a Cotswold manor house.
Allow most of a day. There is a narrow-gauge railway, a children's farm, and large walkthrough enclosures for lemurs and tropical birds. The walled garden is open to anyone, even those visiting only for the plants.
