About
Carole Bamford bought the Daylesford estate in the late 1980s and slowly converted its Victorian farm buildings into a working organic farm shop. It stocks fruit, vegetables, dairy, baked goods and cured meats — almost all from the farm itself or organic neighbours — alongside cookware, homewares and clothes that fit the same aesthetic.
The estate also houses The Wild Rabbit (the village pub-with-rooms in nearby Kingham), a cookery school, a small spa, and a herb garden open to visitors. It is the most polished — and arguably most expensive — countryside experience in the eastern Cotswolds.
