Submit your event
Running a festival, fete, open garden, vintage rally, literary lunch, food market, dog show, classical concert or village open day in the Cotswolds? We’d love to hear about it. We list events that genuinely add to a visit to the region — free to organisers, no listing fee.
We can’t guarantee inclusion — we cover what fits the guide and we keep the event listings curated rather than exhaustive — but we read every submission and reply if we’d like to feature it.
What to include
To save us going back and forth, please send the following in your first email:
- Event name and a one-line description.
- Date(s) and times, including start and end. Recurring events: list every date.
- Venue and full address, including postcode.
- A short description (about 100–200 words) — what happens, who it’s for, what makes it worth a trip.
- Ticket information — price, whether booking is required, and a link.
- A good landscape photograph — minimum 1600px wide, with credit line and confirmation we have permission to use it.
- Organiser contact — name, email and phone in case we need a quick clarification before publishing.
- Website or booking link.

Please give us at least four weeks’ notice ahead of the event date. The earlier we hear, the better the chance we can fit it in.
Corrections and tip-offs
Spotted a price that’s out of date, a closed-down pub still listed, or an opening time that’s changed? We’d genuinely like to know — we update the guide constantly and reader-led corrections are one of the most useful sources we have. Same goes for new openings, recently restored places, and anywhere we ought to know about.
