DESCRIPTION:The Bath Half is one of Britain's oldest and largest mass-parti
 cipation half marathons — 12\,000 runners each year on a fast\, flat two-l
 ap loop starting in the Great Pulteney Street area\, winding through the G
 eorgian centre past the Royal Crescent\, and running out along the River A
 von to the west of the city.\n\nThe 2027 edition takes place on Sunday 14 
 March 2027. Start is 11am\; expected finish window is early afternoon. Bat
 h's city centre and much of the surrounding road network is closed to traf
 fic between 8am and 4pm — plan accommodation or day trips accordingly.\n\n
 For non-runners\, the atmosphere along the course is one of the best in th
 e UK for a road race — informal cheer stations\, live bands and pubs open 
 early. The main entry ballot opens in autumn 2026\; charity places availab
