 pen only on weekdays through the summer\, it opens for the National Garden
  Scheme on Sunday 23 August 2026 from 10am to 5pm — a rare chance to visit
  at the peak of the herbaceous borders and the topiary theatre.\n\nNine ad
 ditional private gardens across Bourton-on-the-Hill village open the same 
 day\, walkable between with a single ticket. Teas\, coffees and homemade c
 akes served in the Old School Hall.\n\nAdmission £9 for adults\, accompani
 ed under-16s free. All proceeds to the NGS's nursing and health-charity be
