The November Meeting 2026 — Cheltenham (Paddy Power Gold Cup)

Three days of top-tier jump racing at Cheltenham — Saturday's Paddy Power Gold Cup is the winter season's first major and one of the racecourse's biggest crowd days outside the Festival itself.

About

Cheltenham's November Meeting — 13, 14 and 15 November 2026 — is the first serious pointer to March. Trainers use the three-day card to bring out horses being aimed at the Cheltenham Festival, and the crowds match the racing: attendance regularly clears 40,000 over the weekend.

The main event is the Paddy Power Gold Cup on Saturday 14 November — a 2m 4½f Premier Handicap Chase run on the Old Course over 17 fences and won historically by chasers who go on to Gold Cup contention. Undercards across all three days feature Graded hurdle races and novice chases.

Advance tickets recommended; parking on the racecourse enclosure or use the free park-and-ride from Racecourse tram at the top of Prestbury Road.
