Easter Trails Across the Cotswolds 2027

Easter Sunday falls on 28 March 2027 — Sudeley Castle, Blenheim Palace and Cotswold Farm Park all run family Easter egg trails through the school holidays either side.

About

Easter 2027 is early — Good Friday is 26 March, Easter Sunday is 28 March and Easter Monday is 29 March. The Cotswolds' big-family venues all run Easter trails through the two-week school holiday either side of the weekend, expected to run 27 March – 11 April 2027 (dates to be confirmed by each venue closer to the time).

Sudeley Castle at Winchcombe traditionally puts the biggest Easter trail on the region's calendar — a golden-egg hunt through the castle grounds ending with a giant hare, plus live Tudor re-enactments over the four-day Easter weekend (Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn on Saturday, Queen Elizabeth I's travelling court over Sunday and Monday).

Blenheim Palace at Woodstock runs a formal-gardens Easter trail with themed puzzle-solving through the Great Court, and Cotswold Farm Park at Guiting Power has trail activities alongside its full-time lambing, spring calving and hatching pen. All three normally sell out weekend slots — book by mid-March.
