About
Cotswold Lavender at Hill Barn Farm above Snowshill is one of the largest lavender farms in England — 53 acres of purple rows planted along the escarpment, harvested for oil in early August. The farm is open daily to visitors from mid-June to early August each year; based on the annual pattern, the 2027 season is expected to run from Wednesday 16 June to Sunday 8 August 2027.
On site: a small tea room in the converted barn, a shop selling lavender oil, soap and honey, and short walks through the fields for photographs. Peak bloom is usually the second week of July — arrive early on weekend days for the best light and fewest people.
Free to walk through; parking charge only. Dates derived from the pattern; confirm on the Cotswold Lavender site closer to the season.
