DESCRIPTION:The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway's annual Diesel 
 Gala\, 24–26 July 2026 across the full 14-mile line from Cheltenham Raceco
 urse via Winchcombe and Toddington up to Broadway. Twelve locomotives are 
 booked to work an intensive timetable: BR Classes 20\, 25\, 27 and 35 from
  the home fleet\, plus visiting motive power including Class 45 No. 45149.
  Sunday's schedule is a special tribute to the Pathfinder Railtours enthus
 iast tours\, with six locomotives rostered that once worked Pathfinder tra
 ins.\n\nBehind-the-scenes access opens up the Diesel Shed\, the Carriage a
 nd Wagon Works and the Signal & Telegraph Department during gala hours. Li
 ve entertainment\, model railway displays and refreshments at Toddington\,
  Winchcombe and Cheltenham Race Course stations. A free shuttle bus runs b
 etween Cheltenham Spa and Cheltenham Race Course on Friday and Saturday.\n
