Scuttlebrook Wake is the traditional Saturday finale of the Cotswold Olimpick Games weekend — a day-long village carnival in Chipping Campden dating from at least the 1770s. Held on Saturday 5 June 2027, the day begins with the May Queen procession through the town, followed by morris dancing performances on the Market Square, a full village fair, and the high-street parade with local youth groups and floats.
The evening ends with the crowning of the Scuttlebrook Wake Queen and dancing on the Market Square into the night. Free to attend; the town is closed to traffic for the day. Dates derived from the annual pattern (the Saturday after the Olimpick Games); confirm with the Scuttlebrook Wake committee.
