DESCRIPTION:Stanway's summer fete is held in the water gardens of Stanway H
 ouse — the Earl of Wemyss's Jacobean manor on the edge of the Cotswold esc
 arpment. A proper traditional afternoon of brass band\, morris men\, teas 
 and cakes\, ice creams\, pork baps\, stalls\, games\, raffle and the bar.\
 n\nThe distinctive draw is the 14th-century water garden's fountain — the 
 tallest single-jet gravity-fed fountain in Europe — which is set running t
 wice during the fete. Funds raised support the local school\, churches and
  community groups.\n\nAdults £3\, children 16 and under free. Parking acro
 ss five fields on site\; signposted from the B4632 (via Stanton) or the B4
