About
Tewkesbury sits just beyond the western edge of the Cotswolds and runs one of the prettiest small-town Christmas markets in Gloucestershire. The high street fills with craft and food stalls from noon onwards, with live music in the side streets and a brass band leading the run-up to the lights switch-on outside Tewkesbury Abbey.
Free entry. The town is best reached by train (Ashchurch, then a 10-minute bus) or by car (free parking at the Spring Gardens car park, five minutes' walk from the high street).
