About
Cheltenham's classical festival uses the Town Hall, the Pittville Pump Room and a handful of other venues for chamber concerts, full orchestral evenings, late-night fringe sets and free recitals. The line-up is built each year by the festival's artistic director from a mix of established and emerging artists.
Founded in 1945, it is the second-oldest of Cheltenham's four festivals (after literature). 2026 marks the 81st edition.
