Phoenix Festival, Cirencester 2026

A free, volunteer-run community music and arts festival in Cirencester's Abbey Grounds over the August bank holiday weekend — two days of live music, dance and family entertainment that draws around 20,000 people each year.

About

The Phoenix Festival is Cirencester's biggest annual community event — two days of live music, dance and family activities in the Abbey Grounds, run entirely by unpaid volunteers and free to enter. Founded in 2013 by a local youth group, it has grown to draw around 20,000 attendees over the bank-holiday weekend, with a programme ranging from local acts to national headline guests.

Multiple stages across the grounds, food and drink stalls, family activities, and the inclusive, all-generations atmosphere the festival is known for. No tickets needed — just turn up.
