About
Held on the meadows where the actual Battle of Tewkesbury was fought in 1471, the festival draws around 2,000 costumed re-enactors and 60,000 visitors over a single weekend. Two staged battles a day, a sprawling living-history camp, mounted combat and a falconry display.
Free to enter, with paid car parking and ticketed grandstand seating for the battles. Bring proper shoes and sunscreen — the meadow has very little shade.
