Painswick Rococo Garden's summer holiday trail: help Gnome Bert find his hidden gnome friends around the follies, maze and hedge-lined walks — each gnome bringing something to Rolly the Rococo Gnome's celebration party (garden gnomes were back at RHS Chelsea in 2025, and the garden is going all in on it). Along the way there's drawing activities, interactive games and challenges suited to primary-age children.
Runs 18 July to 31 August 2026, 10am to 5pm daily. Trail included with normal garden admission. Plenty of room for a picnic afterwards.
In Painswick
Silver-grey stone (rarer here than honey) and a churchyard of 99 ancient yews, with the Rococo Garden a mile north.
